This is an open-mic-style event intended to celebrate the diverse talents of Indigenous performers and bring the community together in a spirit of cultural appreciation. We hope to hear from performers about what Truth and Reconciliation means to them on a personal level, and how non-Indigenous Canadians can aid in moving reconciliation forward.
Location: West River’s Edge Time: 10-minute performances from 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Performances will take place outdoors if the weather is favourable, or inside in the case of wind or rain. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and time to mingle while watching the performances.

Rellik will be acting as host / MC for this event . urvivor Portraits is a series of portraits of Residential School survivors who are contributing to their family, community, and nation. The goal of the exhibit is to show that residential schools are not a part of ancient history, that survivors are still here and doing well in spite of the horrific things that were done to them in the school. The exhibit will run from September 22nd to October 6 and is hosted by Kingsway Mall and can be found outside the Starbucks
